Growing Trees
My husband's sister came to visit us this weekend and brought us two trees. I was more than excited! One was a Magnolia tree and the other one is shown in the picture above. I don't know what this tree is yet but I found a great place in the front yard for it. So far only one chicken saw us digging and came searching for some yummy worms. Tyler decided he wanted planted too! It brings me so much joy to see my kids having fun in the yard. He was a great help too making sure the hole was big enough. We dug the hole twice as wide as the root ball and twice as deep. After planting we gave the trees plenty of water and it rained that evening so they enjoyed an extra sweet drink.
